Privacy policy

Draft. Written for the owner of toan-jobs to review and complete before anyone signs up. It isn't legal advice; have a lawyer check it, including which privacy laws apply where your subscribers live. Parts in [brackets] are the owner's to fill in.

What is kept about you

• Your Google account: its ID, email address, name and picture, from when you sign in.
• A sign-in cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It's needed for the app to work; Google's sign-in button may set cookies of its own.
• Your subscription: your Stripe customer ID and whether the subscription is paid up. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach toan-jobs.
• Your CV: the text read from it, its file name, and what the file shows about its layout (pages, columns, tables, images). The file itself isn't kept.
• Your practice interview: the questions and your answers.
• The jobs you open, like and pass on, and the deck of jobs picked for you with the note about what you seem to want.
• How much of GLM you've used each day: the number of answers and their size in tokens.

All of it is used to run the service for you and to bill it, and for nothing else: no advertising, and nothing is sold.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare runs the site and its database.
• Google signs you in.
• Stripe takes the payments.
• Z.ai provides GLM-5.3. When you use the interview or ask for a deck, your CV's text, your interview answers, the jobs you've liked and passed on and the note about you are sent to Z.ai for GLM to read and answer. [Owner: confirm permitted app usage, processing locations, data retention and model-training terms with Z.ai before accepting users.]

How long it's kept, and deleting it

Until you delete your account. Deleting it, from your account in the app, removes everything listed above from the database at once and deletes your customer record at Stripe, which also cancels the subscription; Stripe keeps the payment records it's required to. Copies in the database's backups are gone within [30] days.

Your choices

Your profile page shows what's kept about your CV, interview and jobs. Upload a new CV to replace the old one, or remove it; start the interview over to clear it; delete your account to remove everything. For anything else, such as a copy of your data, write to hello@govvy.io.

The job postings

Postings come from public job boards and can name recruiters or hiring managers. To have something about you removed from a posting shown here, write to hello@govvy.io.
